After upper secondary school, you have the opportunity to continue studying in your home region at Åland University of Applied Sciences, which offers degree-oriented higher education, open university courses and continuing education.
All educational programs are at the vocational higher education level. Åland University of Applied Sciences offers degree programmes in Swedish in business administration, navigation, hospitality management, engineering (electro-technical, marine, electrical and IT) and health and caring sciences.
The language of instruction at Åland UAS is Swedish but the degree programmes offer a selection of courses in English, for example for exchange students.
